I think about this post sometimes.The Irkens idolize the traits that make up the worst person in their empire. This Irken not only licked the boots, but swallowed them whole will serve them to death! and the poetry... the tragedy...
I wish I had a gif that perfectly encapsulates the drama queen feeling it gives me.

Way back a couple years ago i blocked them for reblogging that content from people with that acronym straight up in their usernames, i would never ever try to randomly cause drama but i think everyone needs to know about that.....! |

Here's something that I think is interesting but wouldn't be enough for a whole thread. I think that the fandom interpretation of Tak is very strange? Yes, Tak would've made for a very competent invader. I think she's the best invader depicted in canon. However, Tak is kind of a loser, and I don't think she's as secure as people like to write her? Tak built this whole identity around being a better invader than Zim. This isn't even an exaggeration on my part because she says several times in Tak the Hideous New Girl. Zim was right; this was for revenge. Why else would Tak try to steal a mission that she acknowledges is fake? She even says at one point that she wants her invasion plan to ruin his life. Tak comes across as this very vindictive character who has chosen to hide her flaws by building up a badass persona.
On a completely unrelated note, I think that those stitch-looking marks on her mouth are meant to be scars?

This user listed every time that Zim said his name in the show, which totals to 46 times. Across the show, he used his name in place of a first person pronoun 23 times. The most amount of times that he's done this in one episode is 5. The other 23 times were introducing himself and formal reports to his leaders. So, yeah! Zim doesn't refer to himself in the third person as much as people think he does. |
