 Green and blue irkens they are husband and wife. Listen, I think Miyuki was 99.9% sapphic, but she was also very, very fond of Spork. Whether they were in a lavender marriage or a queerplatonic partnership or not, the world may never know. Spork mostly followed Miyuki's lead in regards to policy and decorum and stuff, but he was never actually very good at making decisions on his own. He tried to copy her style when it came to giving speeches. He also wasn't good at that. Spork liked Miyuki because he gave her a rock to anchor to and guidance and encouraged him to think critically, and Miyuki liked Spork because he encouraged her to relax, take things less seriously and let go of her perfectionism and impossible standards for others and herself. I dunno...these two made me catch feelings. |

I like to think that Miyuki and Spork sort-of knew each other back when they were both alive because they were both in the same circles. Spork was terrified but respectful of Miyuki because she was so intimidating, and Miyuki was hilariously oblivious to this. Miyuki is a terrifying and intimidating person, but she doesn't mean it half of the time and is just naturally like that.

And I also like the idea of them just being acquaintances because they run in the same high status Irken circles. |
