Since betel is cloned from an ~unknown elite irken~ i know who it's just a secret and a vortion that accidentally scraped her hand on the inside of his tank while setting it up, i have decided that he now has a soft fuzzy feel to him. but does not visibly have fur, it's microscopic fuzzies! :D
