I'm debating whether I should have Tyrian wear a mask or not-historically the trope of executioners comes from the execution of Charles 1, where the executioner was given a mask to hide their identity-usually the executioner wore no mask because everyone in the community knew who he was. Tyrian's power and legitimacy comes from the fact they are the Almighty Tallest's child and blunt instrument, so wearing a mask wouldn't really make sense. On the other hand, scare factor.

This image is so Morggcore it's not even funny. The art is "The Raven" by Gustave Dore.

Eminence concept art. She's awful and I love her so much.

Eminence likes to think herself a manipulator and badass (and she is), but she's not as much as she thinks she is.

The reason the RAPR kids don't have PAKs is because even though the Massive has resources and supplies to repair PAKs, it doesn't have the equipment or authorization to build them, and it definitely doesn't have the data to download into them that smeeteries on Irk do. By the time The Massive got back to Irk, the first batch of smeets were too old to get PAKs without permanently messing them up.

The reason Red and Eminence ended up ultimately killing each other wasn't just because Eminence wants power. Garnet had been murdered on his first official mission (over livestream and in front of his parents and siblings at that) and Red and Purple were becoming increasingly unstable and making worse and worse decisions. Eminence and Red and Purple had a disagreement over some tactical decision or something where their positions were so irreconcilable (and the tactical decisions so bad) that Eminence felt she had no choice but to kill her parents and take over as Almighty Tallest in order for the Irken Empire to win the war.
Eminence killed Red by stabbing him in the back and puncturing his PAK, but was killed by Purple when he also backstabbed his favorite daughter.

I think the best way to explain Garnet is that he listened to Holst's "Mars: The Bringer of War" pipe organ version too much in his formative years and developed a god complex.

I just realizes I don't know a lot about Morrg's motivations, backstory, or what goes on inside their head...but that could actually work, considering they're a historical domain character and shrouded in mystery, and it's highly likely that information about them has been destroyed, lost, or redacted by the Control Brains or others. i once lost my entire hard drive contents trying to uninstall a game and another time when a barely teeny tiny baby amount of water got on my keyboard and my whole machine went tits up over the course of a day, i could imagine the control brains forgetting or losing some information due to bit rot or improper care of their sectors.

Oh noooooo. But also, good explanation. I will macerate on this like a skull in a bucket of warm water on a hot day. Plus, there’s the matter of obsolescence. Morgg is the 16th Tallest, and Red and Purple and the 25th and 26th. Considering how long Irkens live and how fast their tech might become obsolete, it’s entirely possible that they still have Morgg’s data, it’s just that no surviving technology can access it. Also, it could have degraded. We only have a piddling amount of papers from the Late Middle Ages, and that wasn’t that long ago.

ArtConcept Art Art by BETELGEUSE (Thank you!) PlaylistKing of the World-Porcelain and the Tramps Queen-Stephen Jerzak Notes- Rising Junior Tallest, heir to the throne
- Purple's favorite child
- Extremely aggressive, enjoys throwing her weight around and bullying anything smaller and weaker than her
- The biggest of the first batch of smeets, monopolized food and attention as a smeet
- Works with Boysenberry and Burgundy to solidify her path to the throne
- Thinks herself a skilled manipulator but actually isn't that good at it-she had to work at it
- Knows her position as heir isn't certain, and so works frantically to be a skilled ruler and hang on to her position
- Obsessed with her perception by the public due to growing up in the spotlight
- Mover and shaker in fashion, like most of her siblings-REALLY likes dramatic eyeliner and ribbons
- Obsessed with historical Rising Tallest and tries to be like them without understanding the historical context in which they operated
- Tries to be elegant and usually is, but is as likely to get crumbs down her shirt as her fathers
- Trained in the Irken Elites but never formally joined-is an honorary Elite by order of her fathers
- Sent on diplomatic missions as an ambassador by the Almighty Tallest and Control Brains-spent time on Inquisitoria
- Responsible for watching her younger sisters, Scarlet and Violet once-she hated it
- Almost certainly kins Azula and Regina George
- Desperate for her fathers' attention and so gained it by being like them-being power-hungry, arrogant, and a bully
- Purple likes her the most because she's the most like them
- Tries to maintain the façade of the archetypal tall Irken-detached, hedonistic, arrogant, and imposing-but occasionally will let the mask slip and engage in unrestrained aggression
- Can be incredibly charismatic and charming when she wants to be-this is why she was sent off to be a diplomat in the first place
- Believes everything she wants is owed to her by virtue of existing in the first place-has wanted to rule in her own right for decades
- Wears high heels to make herself even taller-almost got executed by wearing a pair big enough to make her taller than the Almighty Tallest

I just realized that since most of them are so tall, the RAPR kids could be at risk of assassination attempts not only from their own parents and siblings, but from other tall Irken nobles, as most of the brats are so tall they basically shove everyone except Sizz-Lorr out of the running for Tallest as they get older.
At the rate the kids are defecting and killing each other (Garnet and Eminence are both dead, Tyrian is out of the line of succession as an executioner and is short(er), and Kobi defected) the position of Tallest may just end up going to Sizz-Lorr after all.

Burgundy’s superpower is their bureaucratic skilzzz!!1!
It still won’t be enough to save the Irken Empire in the long run, though. Burgundy will likely end up working themself to death to save an empire and a family that never really cared about of valued them.

By the time Kobi joins the Resisty, Arpa has been working with the Resisty for years and is probably by this point on a first name basis with Lard Nar, 777, and 777's kids (and may even be dating Lard Nar and or 777). It was easier for Arpa to integrate into the Resisty because they never actually saw him blow anything up (even though he totally pressed the buttons), he has a mild-mannered personality and great communication skills, he brought intel and a pack of disaffected service drones and navigators with him when he left, and he's not related to two of the most infamous space tyrants in history.
Arpa could be a grounding influence for Kobi...but there's also the fact that their parents' refusal to listen to him led to one of the greatest military FUBARS in Irken history...and that they verbally humiliated him in front of his crew.
