Irken pipes are super old and leaky, and there’s a good chance that the population is the way it is because of lead poisoning.

water recycling and treatment is a thing guys Irken wastewater treatment plants are just as good as they need to be. The Irkens have lower standards for the “acceptable” amount of contaminants in water because their PAKs can filter it out. |

 Irken public architecture. As you can see, Irk (or at least this particular bit of it) is a flat as a pancake, highly industrialized, and has skyscrapers that kind of look like termite mounds. There's also some kind of cord connecting the buildings-maybe for power, or as a walkway? Also, a lot of their buldings have the curse of curves and are built on an angle. They slant. Some of the buildings have openings or windows that look like the mouth of caves. Irk either has roads or runways across the planet's surface-or maybe those are pipes, because of the shading? BETELGEUSE look right next to Red's gauntlet. That looks a lot like a factory to me. That reminds me...why is the architecture on Irk so...short? The buildings on Devastis and Callnowia are taller than this, but parts of Devastis are built into the side of a cliff, and Callnowia is...Callnowia. I think the buildings might be older. Or maybe they just look short because of perspective. |

The skyline of Irk is rather sparse, but whether that’s due to artistic intent, the artists running out of ideas, or Zim clearing everything out is anyone’s guess. |
