I definitely think they play war games. They make sound effects for their blasters too, and fall over dramatically when they "die". This King Smeet (in the backstory that I'm formulating, anyway) is basically a child puppet king for a group of Irkens from the Before Times, meaning the Elite symbol has been associated with power and authority for a while. Or maybe it's just Garnet dressing up. I haven't figured out who this particular smeet is yet. Garnet or not, the smeet in your drawing looks like such a creature and I want to pet him. You may hold and pat him as long as you like.

King SMEET This whole thing was kind of inspired by Kate Beaton's King Baby.

What if smeets had a fat little grub phase that we no longer get to see because they're grown in tubes? Of course, Zim's smeet being rarin' to go right out of the ooze is a point against this, but I like ravenous little grub-smeets who will eat you out of house and home before the pupate.

Thinking about smeet Tank. Little fat baby. Since he was born on Urth Zim actually dressed him up in baby onesies he bought at the supermarket and carried Tank in a baby sling everywhere. Zim and Skoodge actually took him to class with them when he was a little older because he needed constant feeding and so GIR wouldn't eat him. And so he wouldn't destroy the house. Zim carried him in cat carrier sometimes as an "emotional support baby".
