was thinking about my noying(pakless irken) ocs and my ideas about their hidden societies- and also i read all of dorohedoro again- so now i wanna do a grimy horror-ish rp set in the depths of the irk megastructure/planet...
i dont really have much of an idea beyond the vibes i described rn so lets pitch around and think up some situations if you wanna join! we can make a separate thread for the actual rp after that

ive been mainly rping on discord as of the last two years so i have kind of a formula for making up plot threads... though in that formula everyone already knows my ocs and their bios and stuff and also rps are quick exchanges in chat format. so i guess nows as good a time as any to figure out a forum rp formula! i guess ill make up a standardized rp bio for ocs so we all know whats up with each others characters we wanna use in this rp

is a vampire and a noying(pakless irken). fond of surface-dwelling irkens and their silly little lives, but isn't like... an advocate or anything. they view them like how an entomologist views ants- fascinating, but their lives are relatively expendable. they also like preying on them, as they aren't that aware that vampires exist this deep down...
shes pretty capricious and doesn't take life too seriously, viewing herself as immortal. she could definitely stand to be knocked down a peg or two- the lack of serious consequences being disconnected from any society that would accept her makes her a bit arrogant.
actually i lied thats only one chara. i dont think i could use ztyx shes kind of a minor character i just think milves are neat
i could probably make up a couple ocs for this rp actually

irken maintenance squad gets stranded in dilapidated part of the depths? maybe they meet some guys
maybe its all noyings (pakless irkens) and theyre trying to get somewhere for some reason... under threat of irks security system that doesnt recognize them as citizens

Pakless Irken that travels through the depths as a guard-for-hire against the many dangers that dwell there. Popular amongst seasoned maintenance crews, enough to have somewhat expensive gear he got as payment. Doesn't talk much, mostly because he doesn't have much to say... his backstory isn't really that complicated. I didn't really put it in the design but he has a fake PAK that's basically a hollowed out shell used as a backpack. It can't really do much, except fake clearances and access codes wirelessly.

Hypothetically what would an irken maintenance worker wear.... probably something simple and jumpsuit-y, with a toolbelt and (optional) helmet. probably something protective for the pak like a reinforcement cage or something- can't have your mechanical brain get crushed bro! though i don't see irk really valuing maintenance crews as much as their imperial expansion team (aka the military) so protective gear might be in short supply. old sticker-laden stuff, clothes stained by the previous wearers' blood, oil and gunk... its a hard life maintaining the war machine but it beats getting shot by an alien  |
