Even though the thread title says Irken, this is a place to talk about all the noises the aliens and other creatures of IZ might make. I'll start: PAK Clicking-Gesture of aggression, made by opening and closing PAK panels Scream-growl-One of the most horrifying sounds to hear on a dark night. Gesture of extreme aggression. Mix the shreeing of a barn owl with the growling of a mountain lion and a chainsaw and then nightcore it, and maybe you'll have an idea of what this sounds like.

Clicking-The Irken that makes this is content and happy! How sweet! They're probably getting their antennae pet right now! Also doubles as a noise Irkens make when frustrated, thinking, or scheming (i.e. Cat chittering).

Irkens can be very good at mimicking noises (the reason I think this is even if your PAK allows you to learn a new language, you also have to have the throat and mouth structure to be able to make the sounds to speak it).

Betelgeuse learned about cats and put a lot of cat noises into his vocabulary. Purrruuuurip.

That reminds me, Irken vocalizations that are out of human hearing range.
