theres sunflowers growing in my garden that are about eight feet tall and im beginning to realize how stupidly tall i made Spak (9 feet) ironically i also had this moment being 5'5 and seeing my grandfathers 14ft tall sunflowers and i was like "oouuuhhh.... i made betel....too big.... 10ft tall is so many........." |

i think the most important part of the Val/Svex/[UNNAMED] dynamic is i wouldnt consider any of them "Rebels" or anything, and they don't WANT to be. they left the Empire and their jobs, but they have little motivation to stand in the face of their ideals or do anything partilarly against the Empire. Svex is pushing it a bit with their illegal PAK modding stuff though LOL. they mostly just wanna eat snacks and fuck around in space forever (but of course any story has things not going the character's way, thats the point)

ive decided that becacuse blue eyed irkens appear to be extra rare, Sphex is in some way distantly related to Miyuki. don't ask how that works because i just decided that it did

Most people after going through that much just want to be left alone. |

Cordyceps are to Irkens as zombies are to humans. |

YES EXACTLY! i love making little bits of "in-world" stuff that could easily be cut but it matters to ME. but also it's fun to imagine Val as a writer (she might fumble over her words alot in speech but thats because shes used to being able to think them out over text first!) |
