What if old-timey Irkens had little pet spiders or silkworms that spun silk for them? Or maybe little microhylid frog expies to protect nests. Little nanny frogs.

ive been brainstorming IZ stuff of late (even though I should be working on artfight...) and my rule for writing in the IZ universe is that if a character experiences a genuine emotion or have a serious conversations or like if ANYTHING serious happens it has to be immediately balanced out by something really, really stupid

ive been brainstorming IZ stuff of late (even though I should be working on artfight...) and my rule for writing in the IZ universe is that if a character experiences a genuine emotion or have a serious conversations or like if ANYTHING serious happens it has to be immediately balanced out by something really, really stupid An Irken Elite lost their friend in Operation Impending Doom I and got injured while trying to escape the catastrophe that happened on Irk. All of the surviving soldiers are in a med bay for their injuries and receive a free voucher for all Irken soldiers involved in Operation Impending Doom I as an apology. The Irken Elite's spirits are lifted by the prospect of a free churro. |

Now that I'm thinking about it, I've got to incorporate some dumb shit into my fanfic. I'm halfway through the second chapter and I feel that it's going to get depressing way too fast if I'm continuing on the same tonal route.

you people are speaking my language, i once spiced up betelgeuse having a mental breakdown by his sir units trying to help him, but they couldn't think of anything to do other than a stupid little dance. so it was just sobbing and watching your sir units do the stupidest little dance ever at the same time.
