Weird but possibly interesting concept, Irken monies lose value based on the Tallest's face printed on it. There is a shot in the first episode of two coins with the current Tallests faces on them, which would imply that there were ones with past Tallests. Despite the older coins being more rare since they would be discontinued, the most recent Tallest would also be physically taller and that trait is so centric to how Irken society functions. Making the coin of a shorter Irken worth more might be inappropriate in this context.
