Do Irkens have some kind of rating system for their media/movies or is it like the 80's when everything was rated PG? Something tells me they don't and everything short of films promoting treason is considered for general audiences. This has got me thinking about all the shifts Irken media and attitudes towards it may have gone through. There have probably been several genres that spawned several new genres only to fade into obscurity while leaving a lasting mark on Irken culture, especially from pre-Empire Irk.

I feel like Irkens are just generally accustomed to violence or darker themes, but anything related to criticizing the Irken empire would most likely just be banned. I can see most Irken media and even media of planets they've taken over in general being very propaganda-heavy and with anything that can be taken as portraying Irkens as bad censored.

Newborn Irkens are given all Irken knowledge, which definitely includes their history of enslavement, violence, and genocide. In the comics, The Tallest watch films from the Plim vault, which were movies made by another alien race with titles such as "The Violent De-Boner" where I presume that they excitedly ate their snacks while watching someone's bones get torn out of their body. I imagine that the only censored content is anything that depicts Irkens and their government unfavorably. Maybe even anything with anti-totalitarian or anti-genocide themes because it could be seen as "treasonous"?

A phantom suit! An invisibility shroud, basically. They're for military stealth missions, but I've made a few modifications and now they're "GHOST" suits! I AM AMAZING!! Source: Day of da Spookies Transcript APPARENTLY the Irken Military has stealth shrouds??? That's so cool!
I wonder if the material stealth shrouds are made of can be made into clothing.
Also, just having a really big tarp to hide your military vehicles under is still really cool.

Since the 21st anniversary was yesterday, I would just like to state that Zim absolutely got sloshed at some point in his life but we never saw it on screen. He seems like the "completely overdo it and start a fight with somebody" kind of guy.

Despite Zim's moments of being an absolute dumbass, he is also very intelligent. I think that there should be some way to acknowledge that he has very flawed thinking patterns but can very capable if he wants to be in stories. It always seems like it's one or the other.
Like, the episode where Zim was able to turn Gir into a functional Sir Unit from a body that was originally thrown in the trash and his brain was made of actual garbage? Or the one where he singlehandedly hacked into The Massive? We don't know what the defenses are for The Massive, but I imagine that it's not easy to do that.

Tak also deserves a shoutout on the subject of intelligent Irkens. She has made the most impressive disguise out of all the other invaders that we have seen, repaired a ship that was in bad enough shape to be thrown away, and made her own, perfectly functional, sir unit from garbage as well. We don't know her job history, but assuming she was trained as a soldier and never switched to a different field, besides becoming a janitor, she might've been a self-taught mechanic and technician.

He would pick a fight and then start throwing up and crying in the middle of it when he gets punched in the tummy.

So, I think Devastis gets bomb threats all the time, because it is CONSTANT exam season over there. Not like my school got a bomb threat today or anything. XP
(I'm okay though).
They won't let the Irken students use any of the cleaning supplies in case they make Bombs.
Actually, since this is a military training planet, bomb threats might be encouraged. Keeps everyone on their claws.

They would appreciate that sort of thing, minus the affection for smelly aminals.

Irken candy would shred the insides of any other creatures. They do pop rocks and coke together for fun.
