The fact that they meet in the middle means there is about a half foot of wire embedded in Zim’s back, and that is horrifying. There are also metal eyelets in his shirt and probably his back. Well, now we know how Zim’s shirt works. He has to take off his PAK to change shirts. *shudders* imagine having to take your brain out to change your shirt couldnt be me

Also: can Zim go through metal detectors unimpeded?

Also: can Zim go through metal detectors unimpeded? STILL thinking about the eyelets and how possibly every Irken can’t change their shirt without risk of death. No button-ups, no hole or zipper in the back, no you risk death everytime you change clothes.

No button-ups, no hole or zipper in the back, no you risk death everytime you change clothes. Now I’m thinking about how in that scene the cords met in the middle, whereas in other PAK scenes the PAK extends cables to embed in its target. So I guess a properly installed PAK has some kind of receptive anchor system embedded in the back of the Irken. Thinking about all those cables and where they must attach. *shudder*

There are horrible Irken microplastics in the water from whenever Zim washes his clothes or from that one time he got flushed down a toilet.

Can you imagine how messed-up an Irken’s spine is? Especially the service drones. Carrying a shell embedded into your back, no matter how light it is, can’t be good for your posture. Obviously, the Irken Empire would want to make PAKs as non-invasive as possible, but still.
And if you yanked an Irken’s PAK out…is it possible you could yank a bit of nervous tissue out with it?

I just realized-Dib’s town has beach access. Zim was able to procure a live squid, and the squid-man was eaten by a shark.
