I'm teetering between complete society collapse and an attempt at rebuilding post-ETF, personally
Because I guarantee that there are many Irkens who disliked their empire for one reason or another (being low in the hierarchy, those who are anti-colonization, etc.) and are now given the opportunity to leave it behind. Not to mention that the taller Irkens will attempt to scramble for power with their leaders dead and those who were imprisioned or enslaved by Irkens who would attempt to free themselves with the chaos happening with their oppressors. If the Irken Empire hasn't permanently fallen, then I imagine that there will be a number of attempts at rebuilding Irken civilization as they knew it before eventually settling on something withstanding. Ultimately, I think it would depend on the number of Irkens who leaned into the nationalism that prevailed in the Empire when compared to those who struggled under the system.

The Tallest seem more like figureheads than leaders and their control is only really seen over The Massive. |

Got all my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and I'm thinking about Irken teeth. Their teeth has a pinkish tint and if I'm remembering correctly, Jhonen said that's because of blood vessels. I'm assuming that implies the teeth aren't made of dentin? What even are they?

I've also been wondering about how the Irken super-organ would work. Since there are two other masses that can be made out from Zim's x-ray in the episode Dark Harvest, it's not just the one. I'm presuming the squeedilyspooch is the entire digestive system performed by a single organ? |

parrotfish teeth, made of scutes
i also have the idea that their teeth are a beak like structure made of keratin but i think parrotfish are cool
