Warning: Infanticide mention I’m looking up eusociality in mammals and insects, and Red and Purple would absolutely commit infanticide if they found out an Irken other than them had smeets. RIP the smeets from one pair of a service drone and navigator on the Massive.

Now that I think about it, seeing one of his beloved subordinates and their offspring murdered in front of him could be a factor in Arpa getting the heck out of dodge.

In fact, they did try to commit infanticide of Tank…it’s just that it happened decades too late. Tank was already an adult and Elite trainee.

Red after Garnet’s horrible death via an adult Dib vivisecting him. I’m not sure if Red and Purple should get Garnet’s body back. On one hand, great intimidation tactic, on the other, if Dib keeps it, he can do more research with an Irken carcass, and he has another way to torment Red and Purple.

Dib live-streamed the original vivisection to the entire Massive 2. One of the favorite children of the Almighty Tallest being murdered by an alien on his first mission is a hit with the 24-hour news cycle 3. A big event like this is going in the historical archives Red and Purple are going to have to listen/watch their son crying for his parents as he’s being cut up more than once! Fun! And Garnet is going to go down in history as “that one smeet of the Tallest who was vivisected by an alien after being captured on their first mission AND had it live-streamed”. Youch.

Irkens don't normally trend towards monogamy-Zim and Skoodge and Red and Purple are with each other and only each other because no other Irken can stand them, and because all four of them are isolated from other Irkens due to their positions.

Here's the gradient I'll be pulling the RAPR brats' skin tones from. Posted here so I can find it easily.

Red and Purple figured out how to do the childcare equivalent of Tom Sawyer tricking his friends into whitewashing the fence. They offered their children as apprentices to train for Irkens in important positions, then shipped them out to pick up useful skills, build connections, etc., but so mostly they wouldn't have to deal with them. They tricked other high-ranking Irkens into raising their children for them. They even had a waitlist of lords waiting for an apprentice.
Fun fact: this was actually inspired by the IRL practice of fosterage, where noble or royal children would sometimes be sent to live at the court of another noble so they could learn the skills they needed to be a noble and build an alliance with the other family.

I really want to draw Puce. He's just...so, so, angry and spiteful. I think his parents doomed him with a name like that.

I think I may give Eminence a squad of mean girl ladies-in-waiting/bodyguards (possibly including some of her younger sisters) and Tyrian a Blood Drone assistant so they won’t be so lonely.
And I just realized Red and Purple have possibly got themselves a free squad of bodyguards once their children are grown and combat trained.

PUCE. The angry one. I actually like this color scheme for him-deeply unpleasant.

Notes- Originally a small and sickly smeet, nursed back to health by Red
- Worships his parents
- Red's favorite child
- Thinks he's invincible in the way a lot of teenage boys think they are-he finds out the hard way that he's not
- Trained in the same class of Elites as Tank
- Had a homoerotic rivalry with Tank-they wrestled a lot

ArtPlaylist- List item 1
- List item 2
- List item 3
Notes- Historical Irken Matchmaker-arranged marriages for Irken nobility and upper-middle class
- Her status when alive was kind of ambiguous-she wasn't technically a noble, but she spent a lot of time with them and was very high-ranking for someone outside the nobility-plus being a matchmaker wasn't regarded as an especially prestigious job at the time
- Now haunts Zim in an attempt to get him married on a dare from her relatives
- Wears a lot of jewelry-the amount seen in her concept art isn't even 1/16 of what she owned when alive
- Considers no one "unmarriageable"-Zim is seriously challenging that idea
- Loved sweets and fine clothes back when she was alive-enjoyed violating sumptuary laws
- Would probably kin Aughra from The Dark Crystal
- Aromantic, but was very fond of her husband
- Selected matches based on their compatibility of living together, not romantic attraction

In addition to his usual clothes of Elite shirts with the sleeves ripped off, gauntlets, Elite pants, steel-toed boots, kneepads, belt, bandanna, and cowboy hat, but his wardrobe also includes overalls sometimes, daisy dukes, board shorts, and muscle tanks (of course). And an array of hats.
