hiiiiiiiiiii i'm very excited to keep reading oc threads they are all so COOL!!! so here is mine!!!!!!!!!!!
first of all I actually have very little writing for most of these guys just a lot of concepts and designs ksjdflasdf BUT I STILL LIKE THEM. they're my special little guys
I will go vaguely chronologically because I just dug up some designs from TWENTY FIFTEEN that I did NOT think I was gonna be able to find!!!!!!!!!!
PART I: SUPER OLD GUYS FROM 2015
Cyborg Eye Joe
This is tagged like he was a part of a story I was trying to make, but I have nothing written at all about what I designed him for and I don't remember. All I have is this image and the caption "where did he come from, where did he go, where did he come from, Cyborg Eye Joe." GENUINELY I love that for him. Mystery Man.

Oh man I had totally forgotten about this dude but I'm so glad I jogged my memory!! He was going to be like...a vengeful digital ghost, who saved his consciousness into a computer virus so he could get revenge for being nearly killed by some kind of Irken-typical negligence (he got killed the rest of the way by the whole "becoming a virus" thing).
I've unintentionally KINDA recycled the idea already? But I still wanna maybe try and rework this guy into something a little more Sleek And Modern than the 2015 version.

I'm almost 100% sure I never actually wrote anything for Gelch beyond a name but I do not care. This look is so iconic. I have to use her for something.
PART II: MADE WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS
Bann
Co-created with a friend of mine :-) Bann is a Legal Representative For Foreign Parties which is widely considered a pretty lame job for losers. Basically he has to go sit around in court while the Control Brains judge aliens who don't have PAKs. He's not actually legally required to help them at all, because if they're being accused of something they probably did it, so his professional-looking briefcase is just full of snacks. He got this job because he's tall enough to be considered deserving of a high-paying desk-type job, but he's also a mutant with 4 arms which is kinda fucked up :/ so he gets the lame job. He doesn't care, though, because he gets paid for eating snacks in a chair all day.

Nel was the Entertainer Supreme before Wafer. He genuinely loved his job a LOT. As an Entertainer Supreme he obviously 100% bought into every propaganda and fully believed the Empire was the greatest thing ever, but in a more ridiculously positive way than Wafer does. Very "everyone can do their part and be the best at it and THAT will make you SOOOO HAPPY!!!" kind of mindset. He died in a freak heely accident shortly before Miyuki was killed, but...okay.
So you know how these days we have smart fridges and stuff? And it's like, I don't want my fridge to spy on me, I don't want to send emails from my fridge, I don't want my salad to go bad when there's no wifi, what the fuck. And like everything is available in Smart for no reason, and it only makes most of the stuff worse? Irkens can be like that except instead of connecting everything to wifi (it already is), they unnecessarily download their personalities into things. I mean SERIOUSLY Tak, do you REALLY need a whole backup of your brain in a spaceship?? Dibship Rising really showcased JUST how impractical that is on every level, so obviously I LOVE the idea that it's a regular trend with Irk tech.
So that's what happened with Nel's arm.
Nel's arm survived the freak heely accident, WITH his whole brain downloaded to it. I haven't written anything else important like why no one found his arm or why his arm hasn't tried to rejoin Irken society, maybe it was damaged a bit, I'm not really sure? I haven't decided what to do with him yet, besides that he's a foil to Wafer who could ideally bully them a bit.

this one on the left is the first image I drew of her, the weird football head shape is the final design <3
Ranci is an Instructor for Entertainer Trainees. She's pretty tall but NOTABLY not as tall as Wafer. I wanna rework a lot of the old stuff I had for Wafer's story which puts a lot of her role up in the air, but Ranci is basically just a slightly ruder version of Wafer, who taught Wafer how to be rude <3 I'd like to do more with her but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Wafer
I have already talked about Wafer but I will talk about her Again!!!!!! Wafer is a paranoid, violently heightist, megalomaniacal, unstable, WRETCHED little monster, and they are the figurehead CEO of Propaganda on Irk. They've lived a pretty great life because they were born pretty dang tall and therefore considered better than their peers by default in most situations, aside from their time in fiercely competitive and deadly Gladiator Clown School, where Entertainers earn the right to be the faces of the Irken Empire by almost dying on live TV hundreds of times for clout. Don't get me wrong, the height still got him preferential treatment, but Wafer was just slightly taller than his instructor, Ranci, which Ranci didn't take well. Which is to say that Ranci maybe sort of wanted him dead. Just a little <3
The head implant is typical for Entertainer Supremes, and it's supposed to keep them peppier and higher energy, but Wafer is already incredibly high strung, so it just looks like it's about to explode most of the time. Think of it like a permanent high-dosage caffeine pack lol.
An Entertainer Supreme really doesn't NEED to be armed to the teeth like Wafer is, but Wafer REALLY likes being armed to the teeth. She doesn't really have to fight that much for her Entertainer Duties (she takes on more of a hostess role in most situations), but she's pretty convinced that the last Entertainer Supreme was assassinated (he wasn't) so she just wants to be ready is all!
Uhhh also they're a Miyuki stan. I haven't decided if they've been exposed to any conspiracy theories but they would absolutely believe conspiracy theories about Miyuki's untimely death. Miyuki's career as Tallest is what made Wafer so excited to be an Entertainer and Inspire The Empire when they were a smeet, and they were devastated when she died. They were also a pretty big fan of Nel as a smeet but nowadays their ego is too big and they're totally convinced they're a way better Entertainer Supreme than HIS weenie ass ever was.
Smeek
No image for Smeek but one time I wrote a throwaway line about the place that Gir used to be a Frozen Yogurt machine at being called "Smeek's Android-Powered FroYo Crevice" and now that I'm putting all my ocs in one place I want to include Smeek because I find the concept hilarious.
