the saddest part is that Miyuki never got to see her death trap marvel. oh heres a thought, the massive lacks something extremely key that almost all irken tech has. A personality based AI~The thing about AI is that they can indicate when something like, I don't know, the core of the ship getting hijacked is happening. Maybe it doesn't have a personality AI because Vortian ships don't have them? Also, maybe one personality AI (or even two) wouldn't be enough to handle all the data and calculations needed to run the Massive. Also, personality AIs are usually based off the pilot's personality, and can show clear favoritism towards passengers they like and don't like, to the point of refusing to cooperate or booting the pilot out of the cockpit. Not exactly what you want in a vessel that's going to carry all the Irken Empire's leaders for generations to come. Not having a personality AI also prevents a Tallest or an uppity navigator inserting themselves in the ship and exerting influence long after their time of service is up.

Yes, but picture this: Miyuki AI. I'd love to hear her. Imagine her tearing apart every one of Red and Purple's bad decisions. Then imagine the tone of voice she uses when they or one of the navigators make good decisions. She would basically be GLADOS, except she's actually trying to get you to make decisions that benefit you and your crew. Red would get to hear his mentor's voice every day, so she wouldn't really be gone.

IZ AU where the Massive had a personality AI from the beginning...and then The Trial comes out and we figure out who that voice actually belonged to.

You know how Zim was allowed to pilot The Massive at the end of The Trial? I wonder how Miyuki AI would react to that..

The Irkens really need better cybersecurity if Zim, a defective little exile schmillions of light years away from the Massive, could hack the ship. That's not even getting into the fact that he can track the Massive's course, despite the fact that if he could find its course, other, more hostile parties could too. Of course, no one ever counted on Zim being mad scientist tech genius with no sense of consequences.

The fact that Irkens can apparently get drunk on cheese (see Zim's Sad Shmoopy Act in ETF) casts the nacho afterparty of the Great Assigning and the Tallest boss fight at the end of the DS version of Globs of Doom in a...different light. Also, what creature are the Irkens milking to get all that cheese?

Irkens must have affection of some kind in their culture (and it must not be entirely pain-based), because otherwise Zim wouldn't have recognized it as affection, or differentiated it from "normal" affection in Irken culture by referring to it as "pain-based". Plus, there's the concept of "Squintz" which comes up in the comics, specifically when Zim's looking at Lil' Meat Man, who he treats as his child.

Where did Tak get Mimi? It's pretty clear that the only way to get a SIR unit is to get one from the Tallest and be a legitimate invader (well, unless you're Zim), and Tak is neither. Mimi is also pretty tricked out (how about that arm attachment) so I'm wondering if Tak found or stole a SIR unit and customized it.
