I went to a museum today and there was an entire room of historical porcelain made for the Fancy People of the time that would be complete kitsch by modern standards…so entire workshops making kickknacks for fancy high-class Irkens that everyone else considers horribly gaudy and tasteless. As soon as the price for these objects drops enough due to flooding the market that upper mid-size Irkens can afford them, the Tallers completely drop the Fancy Thing for the Next New Fancy Thing. That reminds me: commemorative plates, everywhere. Fancy Irkens have an entire porcelain cabinet.

He and Sizz-Lorr also both have Dad Chairs™️.

Me looking for a good book to read vs. the endless amount of books I have yet to read behind me.

Speaking of Tak the Hideous New Girl, I love how Tak is unable to disguise how much she hates Zim in her poem.
"For longer than I can remember, I've been looking for someone like you. Someone like a head like yours and a torso too. Birds sing and you're gonna pay, the end!"
I like how it doubles as a love poem for most of it and also lays it on thick about what happened to her.

Just had a thought
Imagine Tak developing claustrophobia after what happened on Devastis.

Like, there's absolutely no evidence for this idea, but the drama, you know? I like to think that Tak was able to not freak out as bad in her ship because the trip to Earth was fueled on pure spite. Also, MiMi could've been her emotional support robot :)

What if there’s competition between smeets in education plugs to see who can be best in class, or maybe they’re divided into reading groups and compete with other groups in their class.

What if Irkens have an equivalent of NASCAR that started when smugglers started racing their ships against each other (and the Irken Armada) that eventually morphed into a socially acceptable sport?
But to be real, I kinda unironically like NASCAR. Please don't think I'm a dweeb.

Despite my somewhat limited knowledge of physics, I'm pretty sure that less mass would still have an effect on possible acceleration of a ship.

Still thinking about Irken NASCAR. Irken flags are everywhere in the stadium, of course. The ships are covered in decals from corporate sponsors.
