I’m still thinking about that historic kitschy porcelain and now I want to draw what a horribly tacky Irken porcelain figure might look like. PLEASE

I’m still thinking about that historic kitschy porcelain and now I want to draw what a horribly tacky Irken porcelain figure might look like. PLEASE A lot of historical porcelain depicts young peasant couples and such. Ah, Pastorilism. Quick, what's a group in Irken society who are simultaneously romanticized and exploited while leading really hard lives?

I want to talk what I think Miyuki's room looked like (for Fanfic purposes). So!
I think in her room, she had:
A collection of pelts/furs (some on the walls, some on the bed, because why not? Warms) Scientific illustrations on the walls One of those things that projects constellations on the ceiling A walk-in closet (with more fur coats and silks than you could shake a stick at) A hammock and a massive (heehee) bed (she is the Tallest, she deserves to be comfy) Various preserved specimens in jars (including a defective smeet fetus) Skulls/bones of all sorts Weapons on the wall (including her beloved Pain Gauntlets and hunting rifle) A desk Wall tapestries A collection of cushions in the corner (see the room Red and Purple were in during the TNB flashback on Irk) A computer, possibly multiple monitors

Quick, what's a group in Irken society who are simultaneously romanticized and exploited while leading really hard lives? Wait. Invaders and Service Drones. DEFINITELY invaders. The title of invader is only given to a select group of people among the Irken Elites. They have much more control over their job and get glory when they conquer their planet, but it's so dangerous! I feel like they'd be treated how soldiers are treated in America. "We love our troops!" and then don't do anything to help them when they get home. Yes, there's programs to help veterans but they would need to know where to look and nobody helps point people to resources. I haven't experienced this firsthand, but I've seen it happen with some of my family members. Invaders return from their missions with injuries and trauma, probably, and their leaders just give them a pat on the back and that's about it.

Plus, Invaders don't wear complicated uniforms like the rest of the Elites, making them easy to mass-produce figurines and other merchandise for. And their uniforms look like most other Irkens, making them easy to relate to.

Sometimes, touch-starved high-ranking Irkens will appoint a smaller Irken as “Chamberlain of Cuddles” to cuddle them whenever they feel sad.

There's actually a fanfic with this premise but for the life of me I can't remember what it's name was.
