I have a native wasp in my area (thread-waisted wasp) that's a really pretty iridescent black...so irkens that come in that color.

i've got atleast two different species of beautiful black wasps where i am! (black digger wasps, and organpipe mud-daubers) i've always considered Irkens kind of wasp-like, especially paper wasps (like yellowjackets) for their famous aggression and of course being hive insects

Irkens chewing paper like gum and making little forts out of it. Making shivs from napkins is a time-honored art form.

Irkens take capture-the-flag and manhunt way too seriously, and fatalities are not unusual.
