I love Irkens. Love these unholy offspring of capitalism and bugs. Peak hymenoptera and arachnid momence. IMO, while their society certainly features capitalistic elements, they're more focused on imperialism and monarchy... Were they to have large military corporations as well, IZ would have been a way more disturbing and depressing show.

some Space Metal Company has to have half of its profits entirely coming from Zim Zim has at least eight ships including the Voot, probably more. Does he come up with the plans for them himself, or are there institutional access blueprints he uses? he simply does it

i wonder how much information on PAKs is easily accessible/legal? Zim seems to have no issues "modifying" his and i know he has no issues with obtaining illegal blueprints either i'd think atleast a little bit would be accessible since it's strapped to everyone's spines

Erasing PAK data, for example, is something that would need to be kept secret for obvious reasons. However, knowledge on PAK repair is essential in emergency situations and self repairing is quicker and more convenient than going to a specialist.

I think that the memory isn't easily erasable internally both for the purpose of making it difficult for an Irken to falsify their memories during an evaluation and because there's probably an abundance thereof so that a Pak could outlast several average Irken lifetimes without needing to be emptied (although they should be wiped clean with every new host, accidents during that stage could make for an interesting story!)
So yeah, erasing something from a Pak probably would require connecting oneself to a Control Brain and only if it deems such a procedure necessary.

What if PAK software is open source for Irkens (or it wasn't supposed to be, but someone leaked it) so there are all these Irkens making cool modifications to the code of their PAKs...and just as many accidentally adding more bugs.

What if Irkens love wild pyrotechnics displays and light shows?
BOOM but in many colors!

Thinking about Irken horror tropes. Body horror is probably big with them, as well as tech horror, because they're surrounded by so much of both. And body-snatching horror, and haunted arcades, because why not. Also, cannibalism.
Hierarchies are probably also a prominent theme in their horror.

"bro what if... an alien species came to irk and enslaved us all... how fucking scary would that be bro" "bro thats so scary dont ever say that again" "BRO what if you got abducted and got peeled apart by a meekrob" "OMG STOPPP"
