Since demons are canon to the IZ setting, can you imagine how wild exorcisms must be there? They make The Exorcist look tame. Actually, i need to utilize this in an rp im in, thanks for the idea, YOINK. YESSSSSSSSSS *crabwalks down the stairs*

We don't know. Jhonen dind't say. theres a lot that man doesnt say. and a lot he does. he tends to ramble about the wrong topics. Jhonen's lack of explaining how the IZ universe works can really frustrate me sometimes. On one hand, there's a lot of things that allow creative interpretation, but on another, I'd really love to know what Irk's solar system looks like and what Irkens were like pre-PAK.

While I'm on the topic of Irken lore, I present my theory that the Massive is a floating death trap made purposefully that way by imprisoned Vortian scientists. Why else would the power core be so easy to hack into?

part of iz enjoying i think should be accepting that iz lore is pretty much "what would be funny in this particular instant" instead of what modern scifi comedies are like now where everything has to be consistent or else itll get nitpicked to hell

That's a good point! The whole point of IZ is to dare to be stupid-in space!

Why else would the power core be so easy to hack into? HELP- now I can only imagine like, several irken just tripping over the same trap over and over again lol theres like,, a room that just leads you to a pit of spikes. Like,, you open the door and step in and instantly fall into a pit of spikes like it's a cartoon or something idk

I like to think that the Massive is so, well, massive that the crew are constantly discovering new ones.

this reminds me of a tnc rp lore: the ventilation ducts/maintenance shafts in every irken structure are essentially secondary, claustrophobia-inducing hallways. theres even places built into them for snack stashes and places to nap. this was decided because we kept having our characters crawl around in the vents a lot for secret missions or because some monster was in them

its good because it means i can say literally anything and nobody can say im wrong because there is little concrete lore of any kind
