While we’re on the topic of theories that have no canon lore behind them because of inconsistent canon, what’s some ones that you all have? i hc that the irken empire is actually way younger than most fanons posit them to be, instead of lasting around a zillion years or eons its only been around about 1000 years. still long in human scale but its probably changed a lot since then
i also hc that the most common irken accent is the equivalent of a british or posh accent bc i think it would be funny

There probably is a planet that's just one big theme park. Even if most irken don't use it, it makes a lot of $$I think that as a main good that Irkens can sell, food is a large one. Foodcourtia alone definitely racks up a significant amount of monies, especially during the Foodening. I also get those vibes because its repeatedly shown how fixated Irkens are on food, but I wonder if there's also a cultural aspect to it? However, I also think that Irkens may sell the resources they drain from other planets after conquering them. Irkens wouldn't be able to benefit from more polluted planets, but they could sell the resources to alien races who can withstand it. Like, Earth's water is too dangerous for Irkens but it's essential for a lot of lifeforms here and definitely some in space as well. |
