They probably take turns picking each other up or benchpressing each other in private. a trend has started among younger irkens where they remove their whole brain and replace it with a refrigeration unit for snacks. convenient snack storage

I was going to say Irkens need their heads to snack and to breathe, but the PAK might take care of that. However, when your head is cut off you do bleed a lot, so the Irken will probably eventually die of blood loss. Mike the Headless Chicken, a chicken who was partially decapitated and survived was able to perch clumsily and walk and attempted to preen and go about his chickeny business, so you could hypothetically go about your uncoordinated Irken business for a while if you didn't bleed out.
