Crawling out of my cave after three hours of logo design for homework to say that when Irkens are strained enough, the internal fan in their pak goes off. This is more common with defective Irkens, with Zim's being the loudest. For particularly dumb Irkens, their fans go off if they think too hard. ADHD Irkens' fans going on and off as they switch trains of thought or lose focus. BRRwhirrBRRRRwhirrr.

People talk all day about how traumatic Miyuki's death was for Zim (and possibly Red and Purple) (I'm people) but ignore that all three of them saw Spork eaten in front of them. It scared them enough that they, hardened Elites and Invaders-in-training at this point, could do nothing but scream.
From the script: In a flash, the monster grabs Tallest Spork and pops him into its gaping mouth. Red, Purple, and Zim let out a joint scream of horror as the beast flails and wobbles.

With Miyuki's death, at most the Tallests are upset and Zim is ultimately concerned for his own life during the trial. With Spork's death, the Tallests were horrified both during and after the event. Even Zim seemed shaken up when he was presented with the memory.

the funniest note on this (as a funny crack au) would be like "Dib was unaware that irkens would willingly answer his questions, he was also unaware they would talk about one of their leaders being a MILF..... (Dib does not know what that means)" a;ks.fjlaskjdghkdsfgjksfd.h HELP I CAN'T BREATHE I'M LAUGHING TOOHARd MY KNEE IS GETTIGN SORE FROM THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I'VE SLaPPED IT. Dib: "Hey dad whats a MILF." Prof. Membrane: "....What have you been doing on the internet while i'm gone, exactly?" Dib: "talking to aliens?" Prof. Membrane: "...Okay son."

No matter how much they may or may not have respected Miyuki, Red and Purple didn't see a monster burst through a convention hall roof and eat her in front of them. For Zim, this is the second time something he's created has killed the authority figures he adores above all others.

A really weird detail from the scene with Miyuki is, "Zim raises his arms, victorious somehow." I wonder what's going on in Zim's head there. I interpret it as Zim not being able to process that he just killed his leader, so he's acting like nothing bad happened?

He's finally getting the chance to show off this cool monster he's made-wait, where's Miyuki?

heres a fun thought experiment: Zim, knowing good and well Miyuki is dead, says "no i just talked to her last week" as his defense (lol) but heres the kicker.
we'e already said "what if she faked her death" but have we considered "if someone were to impersonate her, Zim would probably be stupid enough to believe it." ?

Wait, are you implying that there is a person pretending to be Miyuki, who is actually dead? That sounds like the premise for an advanced scam.
