OHHH MY GOD im gonna cry this is so fucking funny. Irkens found out about fermentation because of hoarders that would lose jars of drinks in dark places and then they'd explode if barely jostled. and then some idiot drank it. i bet. They still have the yeast starter from the first batch. yeast soup...? |

Those lollipops with bugs inside of them.... yes i had one of those scorpion ones for a while.... my grandfather bought it for me when i said "can you buy me a candy" when i was like 8 and i just... kept it....bc i didn't want to eat it...bc it was scary, but i was just so hypnotized by the scorpion encased in green apple hyper-prison like....mesmerized by it.... i had it on display for a while and then my dog ate it lol |

Also,,,there is so much going on in the first one. Are the Comms Officers really that hungry or the Tallest's donuts really that good that they would shove each other out of the way to get it? Or maybe it's just an Irken thing. Almost all the Irkens wear gloves or gauntlets, so maybe the plain donuts is to prevent powdered sugar or icing from getting on the gloves? |

I'm thinking that it's both an Irken thing and the doughnuts are just that good. I imagine that the Tallests have their own chef to make gourmet food for them. They are the leaders after all, and specifically leaders for an empire with a fixation on snacking. |
