universal to this thread thoughts: Irkens should not have ass and/or tiddy. totally agree, but, at the same time. one of my irken ocs is definitely wearing a bra and putting balloons in it because she saw a stray magazine and went "i want big booby." so in that instance i think, that specifically is very funny. Good for her! She can have balloons as big as she likes! Irkens by and large are very flat, but I do think that some of the heavier Irkens can have some decent cake. |

Remember what I said about first generation Irken parents being bad at it (without major character development)? I think they would be the worst. It’s seen they (Purple especially) have no problem yanking Timmy’s chain by treating him patiently and with seeming affection, and then throwing him in the dungeon. You can also see their manipulative behavior in how they treat Skoodge and Zim. They’re completely self-centered and not willing to place anything above themselves unless their lives are in danger. They are also the kings of bullying anything smaller and weaker than them. Again, not a good trait for a parent to have. They would absolutely enjoy their kids tearing each other down for a scrap of their affection. They could hypothetically get better with some parenting classes and character development, but at this point in their lives, neither of them are willing to change.
I also think they wouldn’t feel any real connection of emotional attachment to their offspring. (Having that doesn’t make one inherently a good parent, but it can certainly help). I could see them letting their kids run amok or leaving them to be raised by other people before shipping them off to military school. They might take interest in their kids when they’re small enough to be coddled and then later when they’re grown, but other than that...meh. Red and Purple should not be trusted with one smeet, let alone *checks my OC thread* fourteen.
TL:DR, Red and Purple would not be good parents.

Betelgeuse has a reputation for stealing smeets of other alien lifeforms and raising them as his own to be loyal to the irken empire. which may possibly be the only reason he gets away with it. especially if it's done when he's a tallest. which is also hilarious because imagine you're super highly ranked or something and go a short vacation of about 10-15 years and when you get back theres a random vortion that calls one of the tallests "Dad" and you have no idea whats going on. |

In a better world, Red and Purple would be better parents, but since they are not, Betelgeuse will just have to kidnap my RAPR fankid OCs and raise them as his own.

Zim is an asshole still, Dib hates his guts still, but they're like. friendly enemies. they do still try to kill each other on occasion, though. |
